WEBSITE DESIGN, UX / UI AND COPYWRITING

Rosewood

As part of my work with Rosewood, a luxury hotel and resort company with 28 hotels in 16 countries, I was responsible for designing the user experience and user interface, as well as creating the copy for their website showcasing their Kamala Bay residence in Thailand. The website was intended to be used as a sales tool, and it was important to incorporate Rosewood's "A Sense of Place®" ethos to reflect the location's unique history, culture, and sensibilities.

One of the main challenges in creating the website was the lack of concrete content during the initial stages of development. However, through detailed discussions with the senior director for global residential marketing, I was able to capture the company's vision for the residence and create content and marketing that aligned with Rosewood's strict guidelines and high standards.

Together, we established a vision for the residence that focused on exclusivity, intuitive service, and the effortlessness of island living. Drawing on content from previous projects and consultants, as well as the credibility of partner brands, I created a bespoke portfolio of marketing materials that effectively showcased the location.

In addition to design and artistic direction, copywriting was a crucial aspect of this project. Given the target demographic and high-end price point, I was tasked with creating dialogue that would encapsulate the perfection of the residence, portraying it as a utopia-esque property from a virgin island on the coast of Phuket. The resulting copy, "A Seascape Sentiment of Home," successfully conveyed the grandiosity and comfort of the luxury resort.
